Just to let you know Emma seems to have recovered from her bug. Her bloods on Thursday were a little wonky after her being sick so we have to go back again on Tuesday.
Reached a milestone this morning when all 3 children walked back through the doors of Polam for their swimming lesson with Su. Now, my children will never be olympic swimmers but I tell you I couldn't be more proud of them- they have all screamed, shouted and refused to swim in the past but thanks to their fantastic swimming teachers- especially Adrienne, Su and Aoife, they now happily go and always do their best.
So todays blog is in memory of the wonderful Adrienne who taught Meggie, Greg and Emma from 12 weeks old till they became tadpoles with Su, who now I am so lucky to also have as one of my amazingly supportive friends.

ReplyDeleteI am so proud to be part of your lovely children's swimming times x
It was so lovely to see all 3 having such fun together today - they have come so far in such a short time - I love them all.
Thank you for such kind words. RIP Adrienne x
Love and hugs to you all x
and I bet Adrienne was watching proudly too today at the 3 of them in the pool.... and probably tutting to herself about the backstroke from the 9am class!
ReplyDeleteAm raising my cup of tea to the fab teachers at Polam xxxx
What a fantastic way to end a rough week and to start half term. You should be proud, you have such a wonderful family.
ReplyDeleteThere will be bugs, and other yuckiness, but you come through so strongly each time it makes us lesser mortals more and more amazed, and grateful to have such incredibly special friends.
We pray that the results on Tuesday are all as they should be and you can go back to your ever lengthening gaps between visits.
All our love, and prayers are with you all as always,
The Gray Gang xxxxxx
You sure know how to get your mother blubbing!!
