Good morning everyone! Have just really enjoyed reading the comments from yesterday. I was going to write again last night but other than when mum and dad were with me I think I slept all day and then all evening. I had been warned that it would knock me completely for 6 but I really hadn't appreciated how much.
I do feel an awful lot better today. Am on 3 different painkillers and some anti-sickness drugs. I think the queesy feeling makes me the most miserable. Thank goodness for my magic eye mask thats all I say!
So today I should be leaving Guys and staying at the Patient Hotel at GOSH. I so can not wait to see Emma, Al and Kath. Will hopefully be there in time to watch the c-beebies panto. We went to see it earlier in the month and were sitting on the front row.
The nurses here at Guys have been great but nothing compares to the GOSH ones they are amazing. Emma couldn't be at a better place I know that.
Mum has been sending me phone pictures of Meg and Greg playing in the snow. They look like they are having a fantastic time. I miss them both so much and can't wait for them to visit soon. Greg will be pleased as I have to rest and therefore will be able to play on the wii with him!
Have a nice day everyone and will -fingers crossed- be sending you a picture of me and Emma together again later!
love
Katy

Hi Katy, Great to hear that you are having a better day. I'm getting addicted to your blog... really should do some housework! Have a good day, try to take it easy though. Clare x
ReplyDeleteCan't wait to see that picture! Glad your having a better day.
ReplyDeleteLynsey.
Greg and I have just come in from the cold - with freezing hands and feet. Meggie and nanny gave up a while ago. The snow is very flakey and not easy for snowman building but, thanks to Greg's cunning plan, we have managed to build two reasonably good sized ones in the front and back gardens. Only wish that Emma was with us.

So you've skipped being bashful and sneezy and gone straight for happy! Good plan. Absolutly brilliant that you can leave today, Emma and Al must be stoked! So pleased to hear you're headed across town to be reunited with your kidney...sorry... daughter. (was that in really poor taste? I wasn't sure but, as you can see, I've risked it) The Franks and the Gray children are together today and planning on watching the panto, with you all in spirit, if not body. The gang here all send you their, very loud, love and hope that you are feeling better every day. You remain in our prayers, Love Roz and the Gray/Franks gang.
ReplyDeleteThinking of you both and I am so pleased that you will be reunited with Emma today I bet she can't wait to see her mum ( and like wise you her) Hollie said to say hello to Emma and send's her love.
ReplyDeleteTake care

ReplyDeleteHi Katy and Emma,
ReplyDeleteWe have only just found out how cool your blog is! Sending you all loads of love from snowy Oakley, we've been thinking of you lots, and I am sure we are about to join the masses getting daily updates (now Jessica has sorted out how to do it!). Will be watching cbeebies panto as Jess had mentioned you were there, and will send group love/hugs to you as we do. Over to Jess for a few words to Emma:
Hope you are soon starting to feel ok, miss you lots school was off today as lots of snow, we went for a walk posting cards but it was no good for making snowmen in. Jase got snow in his wellies almost as soon as we left the house and Annabel had freezing fingers within minutes!
Annabel says say Hi to Meggie when you all are together again.xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
Excellent news, hope to see that photo of the 2 of you soon.
ReplyDeleteGreg will be pleased about the Wii, better get those fingers ready on the controls!!!

Hi Katy!
ReplyDeleteSo glad you are feeling better today.
Hope you have been discharged and are now with Emma and Al. It'll be so fantastic to be reunited! Cant wait to see a picture of you both! Take care, look forward to your next blog!
Lots of love from Danni, Gabriella and the boys!
I think you are now our closest claim to fame, 'we know someone who was seen on cbeebies in the front row of the panto'... do you think that anyone will be impressed?
ReplyDeleteIt was truely fab to see you on tv and created much screaming in the gray/franks audience here. They were more excited about that than the panto. We hope you were all together watching it and getting over excited at seeing yourself on tv....not too over excited tho, we want you home and well really soon. love xxxx
out of interest,as missed the panto
ReplyDeletewas it behind you?
xx
