In case you thought it was just the Beeden's who had all the talent, well here is cousin David joining in the fun! They have obviously inherited their dancing talent from their Mummy's!!
Have been to GOSH today. Was really difficult as they had to say no to Emma's school trip next Monday. They want her to stay away till the end of the 6th week following transplant. I then announced to her and the doctor.... "At least you are having a treat tomorrow and having your ears pierced." To which the doctor then said "Not for 2 more weeks please." Emma was so, so upset about both things. It is so hard at the moment as she is looking and feeling great but it is still early on and as they keep telling us- she is doing so well they don't want to risk any infection at all. So we were both pretty miserable as we got in our bmw for the return trip home. (We were in a merc for the trip there and had the most fantastic- and funny- driver. he told us all about who he had driven and how last year he went to Suzanne Shaws wedding no less!!!)
When we got home we decided to tidy her bedroom in the hope that it will get decorated in the next two weeks. She wants a grown up bedroom. I am devastated of course as thought she would want Disney Princesses on her walls forever!
Love us all
You can't beat a good nappy dance!
ReplyDeleteIt must seem so frustrating for you all as Emma is clearly feeling fantstic....as these amazing dance routines prove!
But better just 2 more weeks at home and then freedom, than rushing things now and catching some horrid bug off the great unwashed....
Have you got one of those spotter books, like we had as kids for bird watching, for ticking off your posh cars....can you do requests so you have the full set...I'll have a rolls royce tomorrow please....
Would love to be impressed about him going to Suzzanne Shaw's wedding....hold on while I google her....
I suspect that it's actually Mummy who wants Disney princesses on her walls but Daddy won't let her.... A grown up bedroom seems well deserved after the past 18 months...the question is how grown up tho...is Emma reaching for the Black paint in homebase and the purple sheets?
We continue to pray for an uneventful and swift recovery for you both.
All our love, hugs, kisses and the rest...
the Gray gang.
Oh deary me what a big blow still never mind its just building up a big load of treats for a few weeks time. After all you've been through in such a realtively short space of time it won't take long before getting your ears pierced Emma.Hope you've got some good earrings lined up! Just think how old I am and I've never been in such posh cars!!
ReplyDeleteLooking forward to seeing you both tomorrow for a bit of the beady stuff.
Love Jill

Alas cousin David's video for me is just a blank screen!! Will try a view tomorrow.
ReplyDeleteSuch a shame about the trip and ears - hopefully Emma will get to have both those experiences soon, along with plenty of other treats! You'll certainly be kept busy with the choices (and the decorating) for the room over the next couple of weeks!
Love Lisa B x
I am going to be the real fuddy duddy and say everything comes to those that wait!!! gosh how like my mother i sound. Sorry you have experience other little blips but 2 weeks will pass in no time at all Emma and think of the street cred you will have at school eventually.
ReplyDeleteHere in Frozen Arizona we are just about to experience rainfall like they never see. We are projected to have all the rainfall they had for the whole of last year in the space of less than a week.HUH. Today sees record snow fall in Flagstaff with anything up to 60 inches.
The irony of all this is that Florida is seeing non of this and is up in the 70's.
Thinking of you all with all our love
Sue and David
