Have had a lovely day with Grandpa. We went along to the British Museum which is literally a 10 minutes walk away. It was great to see the items found in the Staffordshire Hoard which only arrived at the Museum this week. We then did our normal round of the Romans, the Egyptians, the glass floor and of course the gift shop.We even enjoyed lunch at Pizza Express- thank you Tesco vouchers!! Emma tucked into pizza and ice-cream and guess what??? She wasn't sick- hurray!!
The doctor who saw Emma this morning at 8:30 then rang to change one of her medications and told us..... we don't have to go in tomorrow! we have a day off! I didn't really want to tell you all in case I jinx it again! Great news though.
I am feeling better today. Will still ring Guys on Monday though. My scars look fab but it feels a bit wierd inside. Back on the painkillers for a bit me thinks.
Its the penultimate night in our Italian pad. Am quite sad in a funny kind of way. We will be back in our patient hotel room which is just round the corner. How amazing is it that we have all been put up in an amazing flat, 2 minutes walk from the hospital? You won't ever hear me criticising the NHS I tell you!
Lots of Love
