no plastic- fantastic!

Just a quickie to say today has gone ok. Both tubes out. Having to stay one night which we were hoping to avoid but her bp a bit low so need to keep an eye on it due to medication. I am quite happy staying as it is ressuring for me but Emma made it perfectly clear that it wasn't in her plan!!
Al, Meggie and Greg have gone back to Oakley. They will hopefully do 3 days then back here for the weekend. Alistair is also hoping to go to work on Thursday and Friday, They have been fantastically supportive of all of us- Thank you Life Plus!
Back tomorrow, after a lovely comfy night on a chair!!

  1. Sorry you are having to spend a night in a dimly lit ward but like you say its reassuring for you... and glad to see Emma hasn't had her spirit removed with those pesky tubes...

Have an eyore cuppa and i hope the night passes quickly and you can return to the sanity of the hotel...

gentle hugs and keep the noise down please

  4. Hi Katy

Glad to hear things are continuing to go well for all of you. I have been reading your blog regularly and keeping up-to-date with all your news. Ruby is now able to name Emma, Greg & Meggie whenever their photo appears on my laptop. She has been very interested in all the pictures. Great to see so many photos of your whole family. I have read the January issue of She magazine and also watched you all on the Cbeebies iplayer. Alice & Ruby watched the whole pantomime whereas I just watched the 3 clips (as pointed out in a previous message). I was very grateful of those very exact timings as there are only so many pantomimes I can cope with... you all looked like you were enjoying it though! We are having a snow day tomorrow (Guildford) so interesting to see if Greg & Meggie manage to get to school this week.

    Keep well,
    Emma x x

  5. Another step along the road for our precious girls.
Greg and Meg are still fast asleep. It's 10 past 8 in the morning with a covering of snow outside. All their bags are ready but we are in no hurry!
Take care of each other and hope to hear you are back in the "hotel" later on today.
Love and hugs from Nanny and Grandad xxxx

  6. Hi Katy, glad everything went will with Emma - I hope you are continuing to look after yourself. Still check your Blog regularly as does Alex! This morning has been a bit mad - not too much snow here but the school was shut because of a burst pipe, only to open half an hour later when it was fixed! Alex not happy! Keep well and warm, Love Kathryn xxxx

  8. Wow what stars you both are! Hope you are both feeling in much less pain soon!

Take care of yourselves! We're still watching the blog even if we don't always get time to post now I'm back at work. Saw the Sharnbrook school bus on my way home & Thurleigh was still open so I guess Greg & Meggie probably had to go in :( Milly is driving Daddy insane at home as she's not back til next week!
Looking forward to visiting you once your all back home- bet it won't be long now! Keep holding on tight!
