It's snowing. Not settling

It is snowing but not settling. We are back in our flat. I have quite a sore tummy.

  1. Glad you're back in the flat Emma. Hope your tummy's feeling better soon! We got sent home from school because of the snow, and it's quite deep in my village now (over 10cm).

The girls are all missing you at school and look forward to seeing you again soon!

  3. Hi Emma glad to hear yours and Mummy's news every day. You may think things are not going quickly enough but this is one occasion when slow but sure is the way. With all the snow outside and you not at your best I think you should start thinking when you are really really better and nag your Mum and Dad to take you some day on a winter holiday so you can make up for lost time in the winter sports department.

Even in Florida we are getting very cold weather at night with record low temperatures, the farmers are trying to save their crops of strawberries and oranges by spraying them with water at night. Expensive Florida orange juice next year

Love to all the little Beedens

  4. Dear Emma

Glad to get your message today - hope that your tummy will soon get better. Just as well you were not with us on the way to school this morning as I got into big trouble for throwing snow at Geg and Meggie.

We have had some more snow over lunch-time but no more today according to the weather forcast. Tomorrow should bring some more again. Hope that your flat is warm and cosy because it has been bitter outside here.

Look forward to your next blog.

    Best best wishes

  9. Great to see you both in the flat again. Hope the soreness soon goes. It is very cold here. I did not have to go to Folkestone today because the thanksgiving service was postponed - very sensible. Driving to Cambridge tomorrow may be tricky. Keep warm and gain strength every day.
    Love from Grandpa.

  13. Hi Girls,

Stu told me about your blog at Christmas and have just managed to catch up with it all. What a fantastic way of keeping everyone up to date. Where would we be without modern technology?

I'm so pleased you are both progressing so well and hope you will be able to go home soon. You look amazing!

I hope you get enough snow for some fun but not so much that you miss out on all your visitors! At the moment I'm just hoping Stu gets home from Antwerp tomorrow!

We look forward to seeing you all soon - possibly at the weekend I understand, but only if you feel like it.

    Take care and keep blogging!!

  16. Hi Emma & Katie,
Both looking great in the picture, how do you look so good when you hardly seem to have had a chance for much of a rest with all your outings to museums, Covent Garden and Pizza Express, what girls about town you have become!Us country mice are enjoying a bit of snow as you know, but it's not really great for building snowmen, so you've not missed much except alot of falling over.
We were back at Polam on Tuesday evening, oh joy of joys, how I have missed that over the hols! Sure you are jealous Katie and can't wait to get back to it??!! I didn't do very well as I was watching Annabel when Jessica did her best dive ever, and was also in trouble for forgetting pants. The girls'that is, not mine Katie, before you start sniggering. So they had to home knickerless, don't tell anyone will you? Opps think most of Oakley will know by now knowing your massive following! It's a wonder any swimming was done at all as Su seems to be permanently on blog watch, there isn't anything she doesn't know about your progress! Everyone at Pre-School send love and hugs (gentle ones of course) and I have enjoyed your cousin Daivd starting with us this week. He is very chatty and has mentioned his three cousins, and we plan to do LOTS of VERY sticky pictures next week.Maybe he will send you some if you are lucky. I hear Roz is coming to visit today, I should watch out if I were you, she sounded so keen on the patient hotel/flat thing that the slightest snowflake may have her claiming she is "snowed in" and then you'll be stuck with her! Only joking Roz, hope you have a lovely time catching up. Anyway, lots of love as always, The Glennies, oh and PS thanks for being at the cbeebies panto, and thanks for reminding us about it on your blog so we recorded it, the result of which is that it's watched almost constantly in this house and when it's not on all three are acting it out!! Even Jason has been reciting whole chunks of it!! It was very good, but maybe just the tiniest bit weary of it now? "oh no you're not" "Oh yes we are"! etc etc etc...........

  17. It's Jessie here we are all missing you at school hope your tummy feels a bit better soon I saw you, Meg, Greg, your Mum and Grandad in the cbeebies panto I loved it hope you did too. Jason keeps singing "whenever I am feeling down there's one thing I can do......" he laughs so much all the way through you can't hear what he's saying, he laughs because she says "Coooeee"!
take care and lots of love and hugs

  19. Hi Beeden girls and of course Roz

You can tell that its not warming here in Florida because you hear from me too often. When it gets warm my computer gets covered in dust.

Todays big news is that at one point last night it was colder in Florida than it was in Alaska, they are 4 hours behind us time wise but the cheek of it.

One good thing here we went to an eatery where you can eat all you like, and boy they do a lot of that round here. They do tend to put all the courses on one plate pudding as well. Will take the Franks gang when they come next month so they will probably tell you more.

Keep resting and recovering you two

    Love Sue and Dave
